Antigua and Barbuda has a tropical climate. This tropical climate is mainly characterized by the northeast trade wind. It reliably brings pleasant temperatures between 20 and 30 degrees all year round. Compared to other islands in the Caribbean, it rains comparatively little on Antigua and Barbuda. The annual mean there is 1,000mm of precipitation. The rainy season is said to be from April / May to September. However, it usually rains most from August / September to around mid-November.
Hurricane season is usually from May to mid-November. Especially from July to October, strong tropical cyclones have to be expected again and again.
