Bali belongs to Indonesia. As is known, Indonesia has a large number of different islands, which in turn each have a relatively independent climate. Bali is one of them. Here, the climate is described as tropical.

From October/November to March/April, Bali is usually in the grip of a monsoon rain. A special feature of Bali is the comparatively difficult to predict distribution of this abundant rain, because the mountain range in the center of the island has a lasting influence.

Basically, however, it can be said that the mountains themselves receive the most rain. After that, the south is relatively more affected by rainfall than the north. Outside the rainy season - from April/May to September - is the dry season with temperatures about 30 to 34°C at the coasts. It is much cooler on the highlands, where temperatures rarely climb above 25° C and can drop below 10° C at night. This is a phenomena in all of Bali - it cools down significantly at night compared to the daytime temperatures. It is also interesting to observe that from June to August a quite refreshing breeze is perceptible all day long.

The water temperatures on the coasts are more than pleasant in the dry season and settle at around 30° C, but then drop quickly to below 25° C from October to November.
