The small group of islands of Bermuda with just under 53km² is located in the North Atlantic. The island's climate can be roughly described as subtropical. It is strongly influenced by the warm water of the North Atlantic, especially since the island is practically completely under the influence of the warm Gulf Stream. Summers in Bermuda are usually warm and sometimes hot. The winters, on the other hand, are very mild and always have beautiful sunny days.
The amount of precipitation is distributed very evenly over the whole year and the precipitation is not perceived as disturbing. The daytime weather is usually sunny with an average of six hours of sunshine in winter and up to ten hours of sunshine in summer. Therefore, the island is of course a good year-round destination for visitors.
Bermuda consists of the large main island of Grand Bermuda and many smaller secondary islands. All islands are part of a coral reef. The islands are very flat, the maximum height above sea level is about 75 meters. One should note that Bermuda is in a hurricane area. However, the archipelago is so conveniently located that the hurricanes are quite emaciated when they reach the Bermuda Islands and thus have hardly any significant impact on daily life.
As mentioned Bermuda is a good travel destination all year round. Due to the highest amount of sunny hours you could see the period from April to September as the best time to travel to Bermuda.
