Grenada is one of the Leeward Islands in the Lesser Antilles. Similar to the other islands in the Lesser Antilles, Grenada has a subtropical climate, while the forests are more tropical
Basically, rain falls all year round, which is distributed relatively evenly. Most of the rain falls between June and December. During this time it is the warmest, but also the most humid. In addition, this is the hurricane season, which repeatedly causes considerable devastation, especially on Grenada.
The lowest temperatures are measured from November to February with an average of 24° C. The least rain falls from January to May.
The best travel time for Grenada is likely to be between January and May. It is then relatively dry. June to December is the hurricane time here, which, as I said, can be very violent in Grenada. Regardless of that, it rains a lot during that time and it is therefore rather uncomfortably humid.
