Best Time To Travel To: Israel
Israel is located on the eastern Mediterranean and borders Lebanon, Syria, Jordan and Egypt. Over half of the country consists of desert - the Negev desert. Basically, Israel is a pretty sunny country. In summer you get a good 12 hours of sunshine a day, in winter usually a good six hours. The climatic conditions differ mainly between the Negev desert and the northern part of the country.
In the north there is mainly a Mediterranean climate. There are hot and dry summers and mild, humid winters. The rain in winter falls on a few days, but then often very heavily. When is the best time to visit Israel
In principle, you can visit Israel all year round. However, many experts set the best time for Israel between May and October. The time is ideal for a beach holiday. Active holidaymakers could, however, get too warm during this period, which is why spring and autumn would be conceivable. It should not be forgotten that these extremely hot desert winds blow over Israel especially at the beginning of summer and at the end of summer. Then it can get extremely hot.
